We're an Illawarra based not-for-profit organisation that makes volunteering easy. We connect people who want to help out in their community directly with charities who need a hand. Below you'll find an up to date list of various volunteering and fundraising opportunities you can get involved with. We also have a charity directory and partnerships with a growing list of charities around the region. We are holding a Trivia Night to raise funds to grant wishes to children with life threatening illness.

Cost is $25 per head, tables of 10, but you don\'t need to have a full table.

Prizes will be given for the first 3 Trivia Table Winners, also Raffles, Heads and Tales, Coin Toss, Lucky Door Prizes and some wonderful Auction Items.

Would you like to support people with a disability to know their rights and advocate for themselves and others? An exciting volunteering opportunity has arisen to join the Inclusion and Advocacy team as the Rights and Self Advocacy Volunteer Facilitator.

The Inclusion and Advocacy team provides information about rights and self advocacy to everyone involved in House with No Steps (HWNS). The team works alongside people supported by HWNS to establish self advocacy groups and encourages people to speak up for themselves or to access external advocacy when required.

It is expected that the volunteer represents HWNS in a professional and positive way and in accordance with relevant Policies and Procedures.

This volunteer role will assist in the administrational and organisational processes for one of CCNSW major fundraising events, Relay For Life.

This role will assist with the implementation of all Relay for Life events in the Southern Region and will include administrative duties including writing and mailing letters, answering phones, entering data into a special events database and handling general event enquiries.

The role will include:

• Fixing and maintenance of donated computers
• Customer Service
• & Troubleshooting

Mission Australia is a non-denominational Christian community service organisation that has been transforming the lives of Australians in need for more than 150 years. We are looking for volunteers with experience as a truck driver or truck offsider to help us out.

The role will include:

• Collection and delivery of clothing and furniture donations throughout the community, big heart retail stores and other stakeholders
• Collection of mattresses for recycling (either LR, MR & HR license required)
• These roles require lifting and moving therefore must be physically capable

We're the optimistic charity specialising in fun therapy for children and their families living with cancer. It's a great way to build valuable relationships with a great bunch of people. You're likely to meet some truly inspirational kids. Volunteering for CQ becomes a great part of your life

The RDA is a horse riding school that offers riding lessons for adults and children with disabilities. While they always need help with the horses, in the canteen and via fundraising events, they desperately need a hand maintaining the property. Activities include: mowing, gardening, fencing, weed spraying, general maintenance etc.
